Colchester Zoo's pretty good, can use tesco clubcard vouchers to which quarters the cost.

A full days entertainment, take a picnic and a camera.

Taking the family anywhere is an expensive, what I try to do is use Tesco clubcard vouchers & cash them in for days out with the family. Went to Cadbury World last weekend £12.50 of vouchers got me £50 off the entry, cost 45p of my own. Went Alton towers weekend before, £130ish of Clubcard vouchers gave me the wife & two boys a years Merlin pass (Alton Towers, Chessington, Thorpe Park, Legoland, Sea Life centres, London Eye, London Dungeons, Madam Tussauds, Warwick Castle), did the same at Blackpool pleaseure beach last year.

Kids would love the zoo, why not do a safari park, the kids would love the monkeys climbing all over the car..................
