If you are using multi electrode plugs the gap is preset and not adjustable. They should not require attention between changes. On my 1.8 I use NGK laser platignum plugs which have four electrodes. HTH

The 2.0T only has single electrode plugs, I changed them on Sunday and now i have a power loss problem, couldn't even overtake a clio doing 60mph and i was in 3rd gear. So thought i would check that the gap was set correctly

They were'nt from dealer, but defo got the right ones. I think all is ok now, I also did the airbox mod and changed to k&n panel filter and dont think the car liked it at first, disconnected the battery for half hour and all seems ok.
