If you are using multi electrode plugs the gap is preset and not adjustable. They should not require attention between changes. On my 1.8 I use NGK laser platignum plugs which have four electrodes. HTH

The 2.0T only has single electrode plugs, I changed them on Sunday and now i have a power loss problem, couldn't even overtake a clio doing 60mph and i was in 3rd gear. So thought i would check that the gap was set correctly
