Default Spanner Light Came on-Seems to be holding back

My dad's FL SRI CDTI had the infamous spanner light come on last week and since I reckon its holding back under 1500-2000 rpm.

I have had the laptop on it and it came up 4 DTC code's, but didnt tell me what they were.

I cleared them, and my dad seems to think it feels better, but im not certain.

I drove it around this weekend and it seemed smoother when going, but it still felt as though it were holding back a notch under 2000 rpm. No lights on now though.

So I checked it again, and it threw up some Fault's, but no CODE's as such.

It seems to be running OK apart from this.

Either its all in the mind that its getting better or it genuinely is....anybody else notice similar performance with their CDTI 150's or is there a common fault? PLEASE DONT SAY EGR, its already had all that done!!!!!

Is this just a Turbo Lag?

If it holding back its in limp mode. There must be a fault somewhere tell ecu to shut down. Get the codes read on a correct scanner for the job.

You will know if it is in limp mode believe me. In limp mode it struggles real bad. Going up a hill is horrendous. I would firstly try some fuel additive and give it a good blast on the autobhan.

I dont think its in Limp Mode as it revs well and goes well, it just seems reluctant at anything below 1500 rpm.

The EGR hasnt been cleaned Rich....how do I do this?
