    Default Bit of help please guys

    driving today and after i had done some hard breaking. got a noise of some thing rubbing after a revolution. so will my Disc/pads be worn enough to cause this ? whilst the noise was happening i pumped the break and it would stop. so i know its one or the other...

    so can some one link me to either a how to change breaks and what where i should be paying

    Have a go yourself mate, you really cant do it wrong, and you cant really break anything either (no pun intended). that linked guide is dead easy to follow too. Plus, by stripping them down in anticipation to changing them you may just find some dirt/stones behind a pad that is causing the rubbing. If whoever did your last brake change didnt use copper grease on the pads, the brake dust can bake on and cause a pad to stick. Again if were close..... but im further again lol

    No chance!! That might be just for pads for two wheels!! The parts themselves for all four wheels are £120-£130.

    It's worth having a go yourself, really not that hard to do!!
