rear door tweeter upgrade

in another post i asked if everyone had the tweeter speakers in the rear door leccy window switch panel,,( signum )

well, i popped mine off and low and behold, no speakers, tho all the mounts are there,

is it a simple case of getting a pair of tweeter and the looms, will these just plug into the rear door loom, or will some other method of spliting the sounds in the door be required,

anyone with a VX TIS will be able to see this,,

another question is , what tweeters to get, same as the front , will they fit, or is it a special pair for the rear doors,,

will older tweeters from a veccy b fit at all,,

sorry for all the questions, but it might be a simple mod for everyone to do

I'd like to do the same, but I don't fancy taking the doors to bits and probably need to in order to get to the wiring from the existing speakers...

its an easy job taking the the door cards of mate ive upgraded my front door speakers to sonys. do plan to do the back at some point

wot size speakers did u use in the fronts m8 ?

16.5 cm for the front. i am sure they are 13.5 in the rear doors

Looking at EPC, the front and rear tweeters are both 38mm.
Rear tweeter seems to be part number: 90510072 (front is 90543453)
Front and rear lower speakers are listed as 157mm.
See what dealer comes up with on price / description, as some numbers on EPC don't exist.
