quick question cig lighter access

I need to take a switched feed of the cig lighter, whats easiest way to get to back of it? had a tinker nothing obvious and dont want to brak anything

Take out ashtray and should just come out watch the top cap doesn't break

Thanks, the ashtray insert or the whole thing inc lid, and does just the round part of the lighter pop out, already took the silver trim from round the lighter out

Take whole thing out and on back off cig lighter there should be spade connector taped on the back and that will give you 12v feed

Just checked on mine take the gear lever surround off remove the whole ash tray and silver trim round it nd should just come out just watch the cap take secs hope this helps
