    Default Facelift Key Programming

I am trying to program a Transponder Key to my dad's Facelift SRI CDTI.

I have got a blade cut and have a Flip key fob and have mated the two together.

Is it possible to program the key using software/tool's available, or is it going to be a dealer jobbie?

Someone said to me that it is impossible to program a re-program a FL key as the "can-bus" is different so it needs to be a clean chip....can anyone elaborate??

    Thanks.

Not allowed to talk about the software your using but Vaux-com can program keys to the car but I really dont think it will allow a previously paired up transponder chip (immobiliser) to be programmed to a different car although the remote fob can be programmed ok.

Its a job on my list to prove/disprove.
