    Cool Chrome Plating Your Plastic Bits

    Hi All,
    Does Anyone Know Where You Can Get Plastic, Chrome Plated?..there Are A Couple Of Bits On The Car I Would Like To Get Done,if It Is Possible?

    yes its possible. Lots of places do it. You may even have one local to you. Just do a google search for 'plastic chroming' and it will pick up a few companies.

    Ripspeed do it in the bigger stores, they can do a chrome effect on anything, including alloys ...they also do a carbon fibre ...

    thats right, they are rebranding the ripspeed stores as 'ripspeed X' and offer a dipping service. Not just plastic but anything really as Tommy said. When i went to enquire they had a cosworth head finished in a marble effect, as well as mirrors in carbon and chrome. Lots of options and an engine cover will cost you about £60.

    As far as i know though, the only store to offer it is the gateshead store, handy for me, but not so for others.

    They are now offering it in a few stores, I forget which ones but read about it somewhere, I think they have 4 now and are rolling out ...
