80k is timing belt, so it'd be a very good plan to get that done.

Is the car on ECO Flex servicing (with the key out of the ignition, press the odometer and see what the range to next service is)?

What is the service history up to this point?

The car should be every 20K miles / 2 years, so it seems a little unusual that it is having a service during 2009, unless the car usage has changed or you are a high mileage driver

I wasn't aware a cambelt was due at 80K miles, for the 1.9 CDTI it should be 10 years / 100K miles

But recommended 80k. You're really dicing with death running it to a full 100k. Good chance the tensioners will die long before that anyway.

If a cam belt goes on a 1.9 150, it is not the end of the world. It doesn't take out the whole engine. Normally just brakes the rockers.

My dealer just did a 2005 1.9 150 that had a failed cam belt, 121,000 miles on the original cam belt, final bill was around £600. Which is not bad considering it was a Vauxhall dealer.

But regarding service intervals, in 2004 the 1.9 150 had 2 year 30,000 miles service intervals.
