Cheap Bresser 10x50 Binoculars at Lidl

In case anybody is interested in getting a cheap pair of binoculars. Lidl are currently doing Bresser 10x50, and although costing less than £15 they actually are not too bad at all.

I bought a pair for the grandson expecting them to be total rubbish in view of their low price, but intended to return them if they were very bad, as the last pair of cheapo ones I bought a couple of years ago were crap, with slight aberations around the image, and were generally quite poor.

I've just had a play round with these from Lidl and for under 15 quid the image quailty is only slightly inferior to my Nikon Action eX binoculars which are quite good, but cost well over £100. These cheapo Bresser binoculars have a decent bright image, reasonably sharp and clean image, and no noticable aberation or ringing either. They use bak4 lenses so have gone to the trouble of using some decent glass in them.

The carry bag is just a cheap end Nylon carry case, but the binoculars themselves are well worth the low price, best £15 I've spent for a while. They look like Bresser Hunter glasses with a cheapo case which are £42 on Amazon.

yes they do come recommended, think they have these on offer about 3 times a year, so if you do miss them they will come round again, *think* they were £12.99 last time, but the £ is low..thinking of getting a pair for my lad & stashing them for xmas!!
