Just bought an used Vectra (2.2 DTi estate 2004), and a coincidence (with gooooooogle) sent me to this site, so here I am

All my previous cars has been in its middle-age, so I have serviced it manily by myself, and the most complicated stuff to garages.
With my "new" car I hope to continue with this

In only 2 days I drived more than 1000KMs, and is quite happy so far. The diesel-engine was quite lazy when I got it (2.2 DTi 125BHP, felt like 80-90BHP), but after some diesel-booster (www.tripak.se) something good came out of it And a cosumption of 6.2l/100KM is "approved" after a rather rough drive with several kick-downs.
The seats (leather, 3 memory) is kind of big, and I didnt get get "wow" feeling at once I sat down, but after 11 hours with stressfull winterdriving (and me with a very bad back) didnt not feel anything else but a bit tired. For me this is the absolutely longest I have been driving for many years!
The climate-control worked as a charm, even in several minus degrees, the ESP "saved" me a couple of times. The 5 step tiptronic does its job flawless, but miss the 6-step tiptronic one, who felt a bit more modern and "smart" (I tried another Vectra with a petrolengine and 6-step).
Our came with "enough" of acessories, but a few things I would be happy to have:
Driving computer (more like "nice-to-have"), to follow excact cosumption.
I think it is a kind of diesel-heater in the car, to heat the coupe? At least "something" is making sounds in the engine compartment, and its not the engine : It would be perfect to make it programmable.
Air quality sensor: We have alot (I mean: alot!) of tunnels here where I live. To automagically close and open the recirc-button would be a dream of all car dreams!

Anyway: Normally I have cars just to make a transportation from A to B, and if I want fun I use other vehichles, like motorbikes, ATVs, etc. But after the kids are coming trough, I more and more had to use more of my time in the car, so this time I wanted a comfortable one.
