Default Found out what the problem was.....

You may recall my CDTi 150 has been suffering from an intermittent "cough" now and again. I also lost boost a couple of times recently which managed to sort itself out after a re-start. Generally the car runs ok but it has been getting slowly less responsive, albeit it drives well enough.

Long story short, the car went in for a service recently at West Mids Saab, who found a split in the intercooler, and the inlet manifold clogged up and swirl flaps knackered.

New intercooler and inlet manifold required.....

Having said that, if it sorts it out then in theory I should get a few miles out of the thing beofre something else major goes wrong!

WMS have quoted me £870 to do the whole lot, which I thought was reasonable compared to stealers prices and what others have paid on here. What do ya think?
