Damned Curbs

Smacked the front splitter today on a very high curb. Doh -





The paint on the splitter was a mess anyway (as you can see from the pics) and it was going to be resprayed before PVS, so I don't feel so bad. I'm getting a quote tomorrow for the splitter to be repaired and blended into the bumper. The company also refurb alloys so I can kill two birds with one stone.

My problem is I hated the look of the front splitter as the paint is flaking off, so I wasn't really caring. Now I've got the go ahead from my better half to blend it into the bumper. So I'm happy.

Ooh, ouch! I keep thinking about getting a splitter, but then I keep thinking that with being lowered 30mm I'm guaranteed to rip it off at the first kerb/multi-storey that I visit!

So what are the plans for it Alex? Didn't quite follow.

It did fly apart @ 80mph m8 but i didnt say i gave it a good smack about 10mins before hand
