IF you've got IDS (interactive sports suspension http://www.gmeurope.info/social_medi...ws_020621.html), you'll have a button on the centre console located to the right of the stereo beneath the traction control switch. Chances are that you'll just have a blanking plate though.

If you do have the switch, just double check that someone hasn't just put a "false" switch in - prize it out and see if it's connected to anything.

My guess would be that you don't have IDS but the above should help you decide.

Thank you very much gtr1000 for explanation , good link as well. I don't have IDS then as my car is Elite not Gsi. I been looking for this Hub around and found an eBay shop called vauxcentre where they sell this Hub for lot less than dealer, did you or someone you know bought parts of them? Are they any good? Should i avoid eBay sellers? Thank you.

Many members on here have bought off Flea Bay. Never dealt with Vauxcentre myself but came close to buying a similar one off the net. However, when my front n/s one went titts up, my local independent garage insisted on fitting a VX one @ £140 + labour, total about £220. The only reason I didn't do it myself was that I'd read the big nut in the middle of the hub is a real pig to undo.

You could also try AutoVaux http://www.autovaux.co.uk/ (though they don't list hubs I'm sure they do them or LMF (who are an Aproved Trader on this forum). http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/p...3&cat=0&page=1. If dealing with LMF, always try to speak to the top man Steve. You may even get a discount if you ask and mention this forum or at least get free P&P.

I'd have no hestitation in ordering from LMF as, although they might be a tad more expensive than E-Bay sellers, they have a reputation which they have to live up to - they don't want bad press, especially on Vectra-C.com.

    HTH.

EDIT - Vauxcentre seem OK as they're not just a Flea Bay seller. http://www.vauxcentre.co.uk/index.ph...on=Prod_detail

If ordering from LMF, make sure you contact them as I now see there are two types available depending on your car's VIN/chassis no - sorry, forgot to mention this in my previous post.

I bought mine from Vauxcentre mate, good seller and a good bit of kit. Paid my local Indy £35 to fit (1 hours labour) as the Hub nut was seized on. You get a new nut with the kit by the way. HTH

Also printed on your vehicle's log book (V5?) or on the VIN plate by the door striker on the drivers door pillar (I think this is where it is but I've not been out to check ).
