Default The 8 Hour Exterior Detail!

I spent last Sunday taking advantage of the good weather giving the car a real good clean.

    Products Used

    Meguiars Detailer Proffesional Shampoo Plus
    Snow Foam
    Meguiars Quick Detailer and Claybar
    Chemical Guys EZ-Creme Glaze
    Chemical Guys Jetseal 109
    Meguiars Carnauber Wax
    Autoglym Tyre Dressing
    Bilberry Wheel Cleaner diluted 1:1

    Here's what I did :-

Stage 1 :- Snow Foam then rinse with Jet Wash
Stage 2 :- Wash with Meguiars Pro Shampoo Plus Then rinse with Jet wash (2 Bucket method) Apply bilberry wheel cleaner and leave for 5 minutes then rinse off.
Stage 3 :- Quick detailer and clay bar to all painted area's.
Stage 4 :- Wash again using Megs Pro shampoo and rinse.
    Stage 5 :- Towel Dry.
Stage 6 :- Glaze paint work using Chemical Guys EZ-Creme Glaze, then buff off.
Stage 7 :- Seal with Jetseal 109 and leave for 20/25 minutes.
    Stage 8 :- Buff off.
Stage 9 :- Apply carnauba Wax and buff off.
Stage 10 :- Dress tyres, treat all door rubber seals and plastic trim.

A lot of hard work, but the work has paid off, my car was a year old ex-demo which I am sure had seen many a car wash so the paint surface was not in the best condition! So very pleased with the end result.

My right arm has always been strong Must be years of car polishing

I did machine polish the car with my DA about 6 months ago to get rid of the swirl marks, need more practise though as they are not all gone yet.
