Could anyone tell me a reputable remapping company in the birmingham area or near. Iv bought a Vectra 1.9 Sri CDTi (120) and need more power.

i have mate but dunno where to get htem from.. are they safe for the engine

Try ChippedUK at Bromsgrove - they did a sterling Remap and Rolling Road Session on my 5 Series last year - Cost was high £480.00 but they knew what they were doing, gave a safe increase in power, better economy and had a good look through the ECU - clearing fault codes as they went.

You could probably find cheaper - but they give a no nonsense 12Month warranty and if the dealer wipes the map - a no cost re map is offered.

Hope that helps. PS - In my opinion I would not use a Tuning Box in my own car - plenty of debate on here (use the search facility) or look on Derv tuning forums.

perfectly safe mate, as most supplying companies will guarantee your engine against failure with a tuning box fitted

where are you in brum m8?

your quite welcome to meet up and i will fit it on your car and you can have a quick blast and see if you like it

You can get an EDS re-map from the VXR Performance Centre, they are a very good map and are about an hour from Birmingham.

But you should'nt see any problems with a tuning box.
