    Angry steering wheel shuddering

    Hi Chaps, What would be the likeliest problem for my vectra sri 150 to have the steering wheel shuddering at 80mph Cheers its an 06 by the way

    as said above, wheel ballance most common thing for wobble at speed, unless its under braking, then you'd have most probably warped disks

    Cheapest option first - Wheel balancing
    Then 4 wheel laser allignment. Also potentially play in the tie rods/track rod ends

    Right, now that we have your thread back as you intended it mate, you need your front wheels balancing. It won't be warped discs as you would feel pulsing through the brake pedal when you brake, as the discs knock the pads back away from it and force the piston back into the caliper. This is felt right back to the pedal.

    TBH it can be any number of things - the trick is to start with the cheapest and work through them (unless you know for a fact that something is wrong)

    i had this with my 1.8 club 05, turns out front o/s tyre was worn down on the inside, two new tyres and wheel balance sorted it right out (yes, i tried a wheel balance first!)
