    Default CD30 Bluetooth Question

I am potentially wanting to change my head unit, however I have become to find the blue tooth hands free setup in my XP pretty handy and don't want to loose this option.

Can anyone let me know if the CD30 is required for running the blue tooth, or whether when removing the head unit it will still work much like the trip computer? I think it may be tied in as this interupts the CD when the phone rings and gets channeled through the speakers and volume is adjusted via the head unit.

The reason for wanting a change is I want more power going to the component speakers I am planning on installing.

    HELP!

    Thanks

It will come with a mic which you could put in the OEM place by the light. I would take the bluetooth module, loom and mic out and sell it.

factory bluetooth will only work with the origional head unit thats
    fitted in the car.

any aftermarket head units thats fitted will not be compatible

what wouild you suggest as a double din replacement with hands free?

also how would it be wired in for the blue tooth system and loom not to be visable, much like the setup now?

Could the steering wheel answer function button be setup so its still in use?
