fuel prices ?

evening folks whats peeps opinions on the new hick in fuel prices? there saying that by the summer we will paying £1 litre

When I went on my Scotland trip recently, I was paying between £1.02 and £1.07 for unleaded!

Its already 99.9p per litre for Super around here, and 96.9 for regular..... I get bettr mpg out of super so I don't mind paying more, but the prices are getting stupid.

I do lot of work on the island of islay and its mental prices over their..dont think it gets below £1.03 per litre

wee are not to bad in eastlothian i tend to fill up at the local large super market (cough asda) and it is usualy 86p for unleaded but no doubt thats changed again

Thats very cheap..it hasnt been that cheap round here since 1989

Prices peak at Easter time, as there is more fuel used now, than at other times of the year. Thats why the oil companies for the last 3 weeks have been raising the prices by 1-2p a week, so that people wouldn't notice too much.
After Easter is over the prices will start to ease off by 1-2p.

I think the phrase is "profiteering"
