    Default VXR insert wont fit!!

    Help!!

I bought a Gsi/Sri bumper and a VXR insert, the insert will not fit in the bumper!!

You can see from the pics that there are mounting posts which held the old insert in place, can I just cut these off as they are in the way!!

I used the part number I found in multiple threads to get the insert so I am pretty sure I have the right one (are there different ones?)

Also the insert seems like it will be a very tight fit, is this correct?

    Can anyone help!!
