Default Unsure what axle weight sprins to order, need help

    Hi all,

I am on the verge of ordering my Eibachs from LMF, only thing Im unsure of is axle weights...

Shows the following on the door plate.

    1 1065
    2 0980

Just for info its a 2002 plate GSI 3.2
I was planning to order the 1061kg to 1130kg kit, would this make the front end lower at all? Due to the upper limit of the spring being higher than the axle weight?
The next drop down is 966kg to 1060kg but would the opposite apply to this? Spring being rated lower so the front of the car would be too low?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If you tell steve what the two above numbers are he will be able to supply the correct springs for you car, thats all he asked when i ordered some from LMF.

    Hope that helps?

Ok fair enough, thanks for that.

Has anyone else fitted these to a GSI on standard shocks? can you give any indication of ride height?
    Pictures would be great.

    Thanks

With eibachs it's not so much the drop it's the handling that's improved, they do make a massive change, but if you want a big drop go for PI springs.

    Thanks for the replies.
I know it will drop it 15mm but its nice to see some pics to get a idea.
I dont want to go too low because i live in Milton Keynes and you find lots of speed bumps round here. I think the Eibachs will be perfect for me.

Shocks may need doing as well. if i take a tight-ish corner hard (like going round a roundabout) it feels like the back end wants to come out. never had that on a front wheel drive car before. all other cars ive had the front gives before the rear.
