    Default Green stuff growing in rear light..

    whats this green stuff ive got growing in the clear part(reverse light) on my vec and whats the best way to get rid of it and have you got it growing in yours?

    No doubt some water has got in at some point and gone moldy, hard to say without a pic??

    My other car. 1972 1641cc slammed beetle. On the road finally!!

    i tried to get rid of mine and totally impossible. the concensus was to buy new lights or live with it . if you want to try its only 3 bolts to take the light off as well

    I don't have that problem due to the dark tint on my lights, I think it's something you have to live with unless you want to do major surgery to your light cluster.

    There was a thread about this a few weeks ago..... i think people were going to try and either jet wash it.... take it apart and clean...

    But thinking about it, maybe a small nozzle on a steam cleaner may do it ???

    i took my lights off and tinted them no more green hahahaha
