    Wink Fitted Caterman Box But...

Hi all, i have only had my 3 month old 600 miles SRI 150 CDTI less than a week and already done air box mod, fitted a k&n filter and the caterman tuning box. My main point is is there anything i should be aware of or be careful of with being so new. I have noticed it cackles a lot around 2000-2500rpm im not not sure if it is supposed to sound like that or not, non of the mods caused it as it was there before i did the mods. What i have noticed with the mods is smoother more response at lower revs and has got nearly the same pull as the astra but havnt gone past 2500rpm yet as im also not sure if i should be running it in, also i filled up with v-power and got a range of 488 miles, went out thias afternoon and my range kept going up to 597 to which i think has peaked, is this the box playing tricks or could this be genuine. Any help or concerns for me will be appreciated, cheers.

The boxes mess up your trip computer readings.

Not sure about the other things though

you dont need to run in diesels the same as a petrol but i do think you are right it cant harm the car by doing it .
now you have driven the car 600 miles it's going to freeing up a littel.
you could just look at your mileage and think of every 500 miles lift you rev limit by 500 rpm more, doing it this way does sound like its going to make you and your pocket feel a lot better .

the crackles are just the heat getting into the parts and for a new car is normal ,a few more miles and you may find you the crakles go away all on there own.
