I'm not 100% sure, are you going for a vx headunit upgrade i.e cd70 or a after market job???
it would be an after market job mate!
i'v had an after market head unit in my old 55 plate vec and managed to keep all the computer functions appart from being able to change the clock that would have required plugging in the old head unit to do so
Can you not adjust the clock via Tech2 or other interface?
i kept every thing that i had before when i had my cd70 sat nav, all tyre presure functions and can change time and date by the steering wheel
I fitted a JVC and bought the steering controls cable to match and I can change the date and time using the steering wheel controls. so answer is yes it can be done.
Just fitted a Pioneer DEH-P55 BT to my 07 Vectra to replace a CD30. Got a Canbus adaptor - Autoleads PC99 X80 - for the steering wheel controls to work the Pioneer functions. All works fine, but I have not tried the clock adjustment! Never entered my mind. But the other controls work, such as fuel comsumption, stopwatch, etc. Radio/CD info is displayed on Pioneer anyway, so all sorted.
