    i was just browsing ebay for a new key fob and came across this

    what do you think?? it sounds a little dodgy to me but i may be wrong.

    Sounds dodgy to me mate!!

    I think it can only be programmed with Op-Com or Tech2 tbh!!

    But then thats probably the information they will give you!!

    Didn't read the small print at the bottom about the immobiliser!!

    In that case it wont work for new keys as the key will not disable the immobiliser!!

    i thort it was dodgy as, i thort, a new key can only be set up by the dealers.

    That bis dodgy. You can find that instuction in a vauxhall handbook. that is for ony if your own key looses it contact with the car after changing battery. You can't program new keys . What a con, nice try. I bet someone buys that. Ha ha

    All that will be telling you what to do is resynchronise the key to the car - not how to program a new one. That can only be done with Tech 2 or Vaux-Com. The information can be found for the princely sum of nowt in the owner's manual!
