Aerial base removal?

Alright guys the base of my aerial has perished quite badly and not only looks bad but it must be letting water in underneath it,I am intending on retro fitting a rear interior light so the headlinig will need dropped so whilst i am doing this i will change the aerial base over does anybody kinow if it is a strsaight forward swap and also is there a difference between pre face lift and face lift bases?

Straight swap mate iirc its a 17mm spanner just undo that and unplug from roof loom then bolt new one on,you could all ways put a thin layer of sealant on it just to help it

Spot on mate i like easy jobs noticed today a facelift vec had a different aerial base on it you reckon it would be a straight swap or may it have different bolt holes?

Same bolts mate i have a 06 navi aerial and its no difference to the preface one i had
