Default bad new's for the car today....

got the dreaded spanner light again yesterday, called the AA out and they couldn't find a fault ??? cleaned out a breather pipe and put it on the paperwork as an EGR fault...went to the dealer's for another tech2 session and it was confirmed that the fuel pressure sensor & controll unit were at fault...

got a warranty with the AA and it cover's me for upto £500 inc vat for part's n labour....all good i hear you say...well not really as if i was to buy the part's at tradeclub price they would be - sensor £110 inc vat and the controll unit is £552 inc vat plus labour to fit = 3 hr's @ £60 p/h total cost to me this route will be £680.00.....

i am worried about the extra cost that is going to be on top of the £500 as the list price for the part's +30% more and labour around £80 an hour plus tech 2 fees is much dearer than what i get them for......

not happy as you can imagine and not looking forward to monday one bit...
