Default Update on GSi facelift conversion 2

Just popped into the bodyshop today to check the progress due to bumper clearance problems and saw the new front end fitted for the first time. You may be able to see where the area around the foglight surrounds is being pushed forward by the bumper bar. They are looking into this before I get the car back by mid to end next week they say.

Other than that I also dropped off the skoosher parts (that's facelift pop out headlight washer jets to you & me) costing me another £70 from Vx, which also need spraying to match, I'll post more pics of course, but here's a before & after for now.

Definately in need of an XP splitter....... anyone ?

Can you elaborate on how the pump could be causing this. Bear in mind though that it also bulges on the other side too.

I did think about colour coding the V grille and it's not too late as they have yet to paint the washer jet covers, but I'm not convinced that it would look right as a standard Sri bumper?

Do you know what, I agree. I really need to get a VXR bumper. If I decide that I don't like the Sri bumper long term then I'll start looking to upgrade it

mine was a standard sri bumper aned it looks so much better c/c, get them to have a look from under neath before you take it away to see if they can bend the the bracket out the way from the back of the fog light
