Knob Modding....

Ok, so the title is a bit funky and may get modded by the mods themselves, but I thought it was worth a try...

Cheapest mod for the car so far, it cost me 99p from eBay (and yes, it's the entire assembly and not just the upper knob)...

Time spent fitting - literally TEN minutes...

Time spent messing around with the gaitors and a knife making everything fit - about 45 minutes...

Recommended for anyone tired of their current knob and after something a little different to hold in their hand whilst driving...

It's an Astra 6 speed gear stick mate - closer to the VXR style with the lever for reverse at the front instead of being the whole stick... Also a lot cheaper...

Fair one - it does need a really good clean outside and in... I'll get round to it soon...

Haven't taken the car out for a spin yet, but it's good to know you don't need to remove the centre console or anything to fit it - 4 torx screws and bit of pressure to push it out of the housing at the bottom and out it comes...

I considered doing a How2, but decided it wasn't worth it - it's just too easy...
