my first real modding experience, a mk3 astra Club, lol, couldnt afford anything else, so got my Bro's to paint the bumpers, spoilers, mirrors etc, custom built a front grille, drilled holes in the airbox ( lol ) ' Ripspeed ' alloy bitz inside, Lockwood dials ( with cluster from a gti ), converted the manual sunroof to electric , tinted rear lights, added high level brake light, plus a few more things i wont admit to , lol

atleast the Signum is a bit cool at the moment, lol

Previous project of mine - spent 18 months modding it whilst still using it as a daily runner - did Ford Fair 2001 with it as well as numerous local shows. Spec sheet by the time I had finished was too big to list!!

As soon as I get my other computer running i'll upload some pics of my old Chevette...... Bucket seats, stripped interior, manta alloys, huge spot lamps, drilled air box..... she was my first "toy car" (not a daily drive) and she was excellent.... took her to a track day at castle combe and she handled that well she was outrunning Nova SRi's and Fiesta XR2's round the corners.. just lacked the power on the straights!!!!

The Chevette - rear wheel drive classic! (Great fun on gravel!!!). Was excellent for night rallies and single venue rally events.

My Astra G - K&N 57i, Modded ICE install and non standard tailgate light to iluminate those cold forest nights marshalling on the WRC.



I'm thinking of fitting a light into the tailgate on the veccy... very similar to the above, its very handy and a lot beter than the standard one in the side of the boot! Shame the glovebox doesn't lend itself to something similar... I still have all the parts for that!!!!!
