Store killers, long enough sentence?

Just four years. Innocent bystander murdered.
Can't believe the leniency of this sentence.
My big question is: -
Why weren't these aggressive little screvs charged with murder?

Fact is, this was nothing to do with the innocent chap, and now he's dead. Disgusting incident, really is.

Well of course 4 years means they will serve less than 2 years and can be considered for parole after serving a third. The whole of our justice system is a total joke. In many cases the victim is treated more harsely than the criminal, because in our do-gooder society the criminal is a victim too. We need to bring back capital punishment for murder, and revert our prisons to how they were 100 years ago, with no automatic cuts in sentencing. May need to scrap the Human Rights Act first of course. Do this, and they may find that prisons will become less crowded.

I really feel for families who have had their lives ruined due to a loved being killed either by drunken driving or by some murderer only to find when the culprit goes to court he his given a minor sentence which does not reflect the crime he committed. which fails to serve as a deterent whatsoever.

If some thug murdered a member of my family, I would make it my life ambition to ensure that person did not live very long, at least I could console myself in my cell for the short time I have left that I had rid society of this scum.

I agree what the hell is going on in this counrty 4 years for murder and prmeditaed at that. It all come down to say the the law is a ass in this county , its in favor of the criminal all the time. Tell me are all the judges in this country ex crims . it seams that way. Letting there mate off with light sentences.

My brother was murdered by a scumbag in London Waterloo train station, stabbed in the back 5 times.... I have thought about slitting the guys throat that did it every day since it happened, the murderer was never caught, so the chance of me finding out who did it is very slim..... regarding the man who was killed in the supermarket, I know EXACTLY what his family is going through...... I hope nobody on here experiences it within their family.

Yes mate sorry to here that. That why everone should have a dna test so when this happens you can get them. Which is only fair.

That's terrible. I'd feel exactly the same. I hope one day they find the low life that did it.

I can only echo what everyone else has said about the guy in the Supermarket. The sentence is a joke.

i have great sympathy for the family ..........unfortunately as the guy only punched him the law cant see it as murder ,not unless they can get the law changed
