    Default Fault code P0325 what does this mean?

    Mech said knock sensor input low? Bring it bak saturday

    What does this mean? engine management light is on wasnt on before i got an engine rebuild...

    All vx have knock sensors . it all to do with timing it senses pinking in the engine by listening to knock from cyd's . Hope this helps.

    P0325 is a Generic code. A code with a '0' at the start is generic. That means it isn't make specific, it can occur on any make of vehicle. It is indeed a knock sensor. They never really cause any problems but you will need to check the wiring to it, also check the torque setting of its fixing bolts. Check all components around/near the sensor (it's at the back of the block and bolted straight onto it). If anything is loose and knocking/rattling/banging etc, the knock sensor will pick it up and adjust the ECU accordingly. You may then find that the car runs terribly, which will be down to the timing being electronically retarded too far. If the car runs OK, then the knock sensor may be faulty but as I've already said, they never usually cause trouble. Doesn't mean they won't though

    car runs fine..but doesnt go over 5 and a half revs...Petrol economy seems fine..And everything else seems fine...Just wanted to know if its major in that case i just wont drive my car till its fixed...Thanks for ur help
