    Default Fully loaded!

To add to my record of seeing how much a Signum will carry, we went to Ikea at the weekend, and brought:
    1 500mm x 2m wardrobe
    1 1000mm X 2m wardrobe
    1 600mm X 2m bookcase
    1 400mm X 2m bookcase
    2 bedside tables

And fitted them all into the car!
You have to fold the passenger seat forward as far as it goes, but it all went in. I wish I had one of the "fold flat" front passenger seats like I had in my Omega!
While we were loading up, I noticed a couple loading a similar amount of stuff into a Range Rover. They were having trouble, as she was 6 months pregnant, and the RR is pretty tall. He was also not very big, so I wandered over to help.
When we'd finished, the guy asked if he could help me to load, so I pointed to our empty trolley (and full car). "See," said the pregnant lady, "we should get a sensible car!"

    - nice one Phil. I would love the fold-flat passenger seat as well, could get even more stuff in!!

I was at B&Q at the weekend and did chuckle seeing people trying to fit stuff into their various cars that I knew would be swallowed up in the Signum!

So far I've managed a full height fridge freezer and a large format printer!! (not at the same time of course!! )

That reminds me of a recent visit I made to a photographic dealer in London to pick up some gear. Saw a guy trying to get a background paper roll into a Citroen C2. Bearing in mind that these things are 9 feet (2.7m) wide/long I had to stop and look on (from a distance) out of sheer curiosity!! Suffice to say, it never made it in and it ended up sticking out the back with the tailgate completely open i.e. sticking up!!

I hate all this self assembly stuff, I have bought my fair share of it, and always end up having to put it together myself, so where do they get self assembly from...

when i was at colledge I worked at Wickes part time. An old lady came in the store, and asked me to put 8 3x2 flags in her boot. Got outside and was presented with a rusty metro. I told that store delivery my be a better option, as they will fit, but sh would have to drive with the front wheels in the air!! oh how i chuckled.

I love going to Costco, and seeing people trying to fit huge TV's into their little cars. There's always lots of empty TV boxes blowing around their car park!

The estate is great for load lugging. can fit full height doors in the boot with the back seats down no problem.
With the seats up can fit vast amounts of stuff in the boot.
The dogs love it as they have massive amount of room to play in on long journies

How I managed before god only knows..
