Default Right!!! Now I'm REALLLY miffed!!!!

Following on from yesterday's thread about clay. Today I decided to take a break from the whole car/vectra/modding/detailing that has been taking over my life and clear out the garden shed. Now you see, anyone who read my previous thread would already have seen that I find the move from 'cleaning' to 'detailing' a somewhat downward spiral. Taking up more of my much valued time and even more valued money (because I now dont have any!!)

I have been comforted by the fact I wont go as far as replacing a perfectly decent pressure washer with another, just to be able to fit a lance and start it snowing. (as much as I have been tempted!).

While cleaning out the shed, I moved my perfectly decent draper pressure washer onto the shelf. Now you see, my perfect draper pressure washer is perfect not only because it works well, but it doesnt have the ability to fit an aftermarket lance and therefore saving me much money on snow!!.............. Or so I thought. The process went as follows:

    1. Ben put's pressure washer on shelf
    2. Ben notices a clip of some sort on the handle
    3. Ben plays with clip, twists and the end falls off in his hand
    4. Ben goes straight to the internet to look at snow foam and lances
    5. Ben has a mad moment and starts banging his head on the table

    Argggghhhhhhhh

On a slightly more serious note though. I have read the forums and looks like I should be spending about £50 on a lance? Anyone got any reccomendations?

Ben I feel for you - honest I do because I'm doing exactly the same. Intrestingly I tried a Kartcher hose / lance on my generic Argos unit and it works.... well fits at least because I need to convince the person with the broken Kartcher that I could make use of it....

Anoyingly though for the price of an attachment you can get a whole new unit in the write places which does not help when things are not broken.... ( had the same problem with a TV when I wanted a flat screen lol )

Dont start me with the TV's, I have a perfectly good one in the loft that I had replaced with a new flast screen. The one in the loft will no doubt stay there until it really is so old that it's an antique, I give in and throw it out. (Like the black and white one I chucked last year)

It does look like good stuff though.... I'd love some clay but no where round here sells it and when I come to buy it on T'net I've run out of money lol.
