Default Prices of custom exhausts? and how do they sound?

okay so my exhaust is rusting through and gum gum issnt going to cut it so it needs replacing. no point getting standard sooo

how do diesels sound with aftermarket exhausts? but for everyone that sounds awsome theres a loud tractor sounding one to cover it. id like a nice bassy note

how much would i be expecting to pay for a cat back system with one exit and how much for twin exits?

its a 2.0DTi if that makes any differnce. ive contacted Powerflow, MIJ and ExhaustsUK, so far as they seem to be the big ones. but they havvent got back to me yet

I'd a Powerflow on my 2.0DTi Astra. No centre box, large rear box, 2.5" with the cat cut out. Sounded well at idle and low revs, bit of a rasp towards the red line, and when cruising on the motorway was actually quieter than the standard system. Also released 4hp and 40lb-ft of torque.

Dee's in Whiteabbey, but in all honesty Stevie Wonder would have done a better job. Would use Ballymena next time, definitely.

Im currently looking at the Cobra system from UKExhausts. Have to fit it yourself, but looks pretty good and around £300-£400 for dual exhaust and the insert.

That's just the backboxes!! and for that price you can get a FULL one off stainless system from CAT back from somewhere like powerflow - fitted!!

..and the custom made one is made for YOUR car, not copied from a system made for a random Vectra - the custom way is the best way to get a perfect fit - as if you're not happy, they can adjust it.

The fact that the price is very good is a bonus

Where you getting yours from davree..?
