Default I'm Coming Down With Something

    VW Disease

I'm trying to resist it but I'm suffering car sweats and the vibrations for the last few months and it's all VX's fault, they've built a desirable Vectra replacement and made it impossible to for me to have one as all the midgets and hunchbacks have moved to another town and don't need my services anymore, so I have to run normal sized ppl who need to sit right about, I sometimes think VX don't want to be a cabbies favorite anymore

Dont tell anyone but these are really nice motors, had a shot of one last month an to be honest it blew the Veccy away in most depatments, it was a 2.0-litre TDI, four-cylinder, 1968 cc, 170 PS DSG - Direct Shift 6-speed Gearbox and wow it was good, decent performance, styling and 47mpg!! I love my Veccy and wont change but if I were..................

Sorry to say this guys but my 170bhp Passat is absolutely superb.

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...t=39662&page=1

On paper it's a fairly average car, but the drive, way it travels and general "feel" of ownership is better than all previous cars I've had, including my second favorite, the bm 330ci.

Even now I find excuses to drive it after more than 12 months ownership, in fact if anything I'm more impressed now than when I first got it.

Scroll to the second page in the above thread, the interior is stunning!

I sat in a hatch insignia and a touring insignia last week.

I'd say the hatch would make a poor cab: far too constrained in both width and height in the back.

Touring version might make more sense and only possible cure?

It's a DSG I want tbh, simply for the auto experience and the fuel ratios, if what I see on my friends Octavia and Tourans is to be believed a 2.0 will average me 35mpg compared with the Skudda's 28mpg, plus it'll hold the road better and make all the Ford owners locally look and go green.
