Thumbs down Waxing car and WHOOPS!!

Polished a stinking great scratch all over the wheel arch and NSR quater panel. Wasn't really paying attention so my own fault. Dashed out to Halfords and got some Scratch X, but hasn't really done much. May need repainting. Extremely Pi55ed off.

If you walked up to the car, you probably wouldn't see it, but to me it's there clear as day.

May PC out, but as I haven't got one, nor can I afford one, nor am I confident enough to use one, I'm a bit stuck.

ah thats real sh*tty mate. A PC prob wont get it out either - that does what you do with your hand just alot quicker, good for swirls but not for scratches. Can you feel it with your fingers? if so it will prob need painting. Take it to the Clean and Shiny detail day and see if they can get it out!

    the link is here

    clean and shiny day

its in Wokingham so not far from you on the 13th May. Cant reccommend these days enough, I went to the leeds one and came away so much more enlightened.

edit just realised you have your name down already!!

Can't really feel it, but of course because I know it's there, it's probably worse if you know what I mean. Will definately pop to Wokingham, with a bit of luck they'll take pity on my poor battle scared Veccy and give it a spruce up for me!!

Might have been lucky, just lashed about fifteen coats of scratch X and Megs stage 2 and 3 and it's looking a lot better ( or I'm just getting used to it! ) Hopefully a PC will sort it out.

My car is scratched and MEGS 2 and 3 make it look like new (in comparison) but once its rained or you wash it they are back. You will need a spray job, feel for ya mate.
