Ok, had the loan SRi V6 CDTi since friday, went up to Lowestoft and back, and the results are????.....

No sore bums/backs , both of us was happy with that. Was able to get cumfey quickley.
I avg'ed 39mpg. thought i might have got a bit more, but thats wot the book says. (was goind ot to show a pic of display, but pressed wrong button and reset it??).
Drives like a petrol, plenty of power was very impressed.
Would prefer a colour monitor (got sat/nav), the NAV is better than the one in the Volvo, MP3 (CD70) was very good, made a quick MP3 CD before we went.
Turning circle lots better than the Volvo, and wot i would call `chukable' through small roundabouts.

So I will have words with the dealer, it's up for sale at £13,995 '05 plate with 17k, i would prefer a Star Silver (it's Ultra Blue), so if he wants me to have it he will have to do a VERY GOOD DEAL..

they are excellent cars..if your not happy with the colour/nav etc have a hunt around for the right one..or speak to your dealer very nicely

only downside is its only got the CD30

But sat nav systems are cheap

So on price I would say Sat Nav = Leather so with that extra mileage you should be pushing for a price of 12k max

forgot to say that was from a Main Stealer on Network Q, had choice of about 3 all same price but this was the only one with Leather and for the same price as cloth

Tell the dealer you are interested but that you want your choice of colour and sat nav, he will find you one. They are all linked and therefore another dealer will get one to you pretty quick. At least you won't always be saying to yourself, if only.

Also for got it had AFL Xenon's, very impressed with them, different? when you turn left or right, had xenon's on the Omega, when i got the Volvo without them, like being blind.

So took it back, let herself drive it back (i had the Zafira GSi), and she liked it, see her even show a boyracer in a focus what it could do, see a puff of smoke and she was away.

It also had a auto box, and so much better that the Volvo one, on the Volvo you can feal every change but in the veccy silky smooth (Volvo is a GM box as well).

Will go and visit the dealer and tell him wot i want and see what he comes up with.

totally agree the auto box is very smooth and the crd box makes the car an animal

also increases fuel comsumption wentn on 400 mile ron today and was getting average of 46mpg on the a9 at various speeds. superb
