Has he had the fault code(s) read out to find out what has put the light on?

Think you will find that it is an MOT requirement for the light to work correctly.

thats the problem mot is up now and cant seam to sort out light!!!.
if it was the oil vectra b i would have pulled the bulb till i got it sorted but led's on these new'ens.
he had it in another garage yesterday to get it sorted and there computer was down so no fault codes could be recovered.

you shouldn't rally be able to pull the bulb as its supposed to come on and go out again. But thats up to the mot tester to spot!

Unfortunately, getting the codes read is the only option. Personally after replacing 3 hubs and its still not fixed I would only be using someone with a tech 2.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Matters not whether it's a bulb or LED. The warning light is a testable item. If it doesn't follow a certain pattern then it's a fail.
