I would have thought 1 - 2 weeks don't want to leave it to long otherwise it could damage your tyres

I've booked it in for tomorrow now with my local Gladwins (who are a recommended wheel aligner through alignmycar.com). I'm looking at £60 +VAT ish.

While i was there i met a moron

I was in reception booking it in and asking how much....when the receptionist went out to ask if they were free tomorrow "the moron" turned to me and said..."go to KwikFit mate, it's only £25!!".

And all i could think was idiot....i had to explain to him (even though the receptionist had just done it) that this was done with lasers and all 4 wheels are done, camber, toe, tracking etc... are checked and adjusted. Where as KwikFit check and adjust your tracking

I think he wound me up because he thought he was right and i was stupid enough to pay £60 +VAT for the same job

Parsco - hope the operator knows the Hunter equipment inside out as Alignmycar.co.uk DON'T recommend the garages on their website - it's purely a list of garages that have Hunter equipment installed.

I'm sure it'll be OK but I've had bad dealings with garages with Hunter equipment installed as the operators didn't have a clue about the technicalities of alignment.

From the sounds of it, £60 is going to buy you a full global geometry check, not just 4 wheel laser alignment. Whole process should take between 40-50 minutes and make sure they put loads on the passnger and drivers seats.
