confused Help!!! Lost a previous Parrot thread

    Hi,

I found a post last week where someone had installed a Parrot Ck3100 in their ashtray to hide it from prying eyes but now I can't find it. Can someone post a link to it as I am looking to install mine soon and would like to do something similar.

    Cheers

    Toffeeman

I remember that - it popped up with the lid I think. All I can find is this one but I'm not sure that the 3100 would fit.

Would people want to steal a Ck3100? the mki9200 maybe.

You could put it in the storage compartment underneath the radio.

Thanks for that VXVIRGIN, it was that one that popped up with the lid. I don't know where it has gone now though.

You are right, the 3100 is wider and wouldn't fit in the cup holder that way.

    Thanks anyway.

The 3100 should fit with a little work Ive got my 3200ls in the cup holder along with the controls for my ipod and the screen for the controller in the ashtray. You just need to get a little creative with the dermel.

If you have the mini iso plug under the glove box you dont even need any extra wireing harnesses just just hook up the wires to the relevant pins Brown, Pin 1, 12volt negative.
    Black, Pin 4, radio mute.
    Brown, Pin 7, Speaker negative.
Black, Pin 10, Ignition. (via fuse)
Red, Pin 11, 12 volt positive. (via fuse)
    Blue, Pin 16, Speaker positive.

and all should work just fine
    Andy
