    Default BMW interior lights

    I have bought some interior lights for my vectra c to try and be a bit different, i have 2 rear pillar lights and a central interior light with 2 map reading lights to go in the rear of my vectra, the wires are perm 12v+ earth and 12v+ that is door activated any ideas how hard these will be to wire u. the pic of it in a car was in my mondeo st24
    please help

    oooh... they look nice!

    they shouldn't be too awkward, i reckon... I would have a guess that the plug from the loom for the veccy rear interior light isn't going to fit... and connecting to a ribbon cable may be more hassle than it's worth...

    Drop the headlining at the back, push a stout wire through up to the front interior light... Take a feed from the front light (all the cables you need should be there) pull the wires through the headlining and branch off from the rear interior light to both of the side pillars?

    The way you describe the wiring sounds like you pretty much know what needs to go where... i wouldn't bother with a switched live to the pillars (presuming that the have a switch on the light?) and just have the centre one on with doors open...

    That's what i'd try.... probably

    the center one has 3 switches on it one for center light that also comes on with doors open and 2 map reading lights either side and the dimond shape ones are the same the have a light that comes on with the doors open and a reading light thats on a switch
