Spent nearly all day bringing the car back up to scratch whilst also trying out some new Meguires Pads. The ones from the Solo range. It was also the first outing for my replacement Rotary after the original one died in a cloud of smoke.
After doing the interior I snowfoamed the car and after a wash clayed it with sonus green clay......... and removed zilch. The clay was almost like new when I'd finished which is a first so the winter waxes appear to have done their job.
With the sun out I used 3m Fast cut on the Megs polishing pad and then followed it up with Ultrafina. The results were spectacular as I've not machine polished my car since around November. I've got a cutting pad from the range but as it's wool that will be used on the one practise panel the missus has let me keep.
I then used Lime Prime followed by a coat of Blackhole glaze which wasn't really needed but It keeps me happy.
I finished off the paint with Pete's Black Pearl before attacking the trim, tyres and other bits I'd sprayed in polish because I always seem to use too much.

Missus car is next week.
