    Default 2.2 petrol oil filter tool

    Can any one confirm this tool will be ok for the 2.2 petrol ?

    Size is not listed in the Haynes Manual so need to wait for one of the other guys. .............

    It would appear it's a 32mm , but more concerned if it 's shallow enough to fit into position what with pipes etc in the way.

    I just use some mole grips mate, if its on to tight just put a cloth over it to protect the plastic. Had mine off 3 times this way and no problems.

    That's what I did do last time I changed the oil, but always like to have the proper tools and everything torqued up to the correct settings, bit of a fussy ****** like that!!
