    Thumbs up cleaning advice

    hi just boughtcdti sri 08 in black as i am new to cleaning a car properly i have bought lamswool mit micro cloths drying towel wax aplicator now i was going to buy some megs gold class is megs a shampoo only as i just want a good shampoo i dont want to seal or strip any shine of the car as on my old car i used to just wash with a sponge a bucket of triple wax so i am new to a proper clean i have bought two buckets as you all seem to do to finish i was going to wax with colinite 915 any advice welcome as you can see i have spent some time on this site and am learning a lot i will post some pics when its all shining thanks darbo

    I have tried various Megs shampoos and I prefur the NXT one myself but the Goldclass is good aswell. Seems you have got everything needed and have got a good wax too. This is my favorite wax too and my car is black and it looks superb when done.
    You could also get some of Poorboys Blackhole Glaze as a coat of that before the wax makes a superb finish

    Don't forget a clay kit of some kind - it will remove the 'surface bonded contaminents', which is basically stuff that's stuck to or into the paintwork - if these come loose when you're polishing/waxing, then you'll end up adding more scratches to your paintwork.

    thanks for advice but i dont have a clue about clay kits i have only had the car just over a week so i want to start easy and see how it goes i have to say the car is perfect for me as i am very tall its got loads of head room and its a lot faster then i expected will put some photos on soon thanks again see ya
