    Default New GSi/Sri bumper

Well after receiving a GSi bumper from SRi-Rich I have decided to have a go at spraying it myself as a bit of a learning curve and something to keep me occupied while I am signed off work!! ( I know many of you will tell me not to but I have done it before!!).

I am just awaiting delivery of the paint (star silver 3) and I am using a covered area in the back garden as a makeshift spraybooth which is free from wind and well ventilated. I know the finish may not be as good as a professional spray job but want to give it a go anyway. If it doesn't work out at least the prep will be done!

Anyway, here are a couple of pics so far after four coats of primer:

Dont blame u trying, its not hard just take your time & rub down after every thin coat. I enjoy doing my own spray work

Gave the bumper the 5th and final coat of primer today and now that I am happy with the coverage I just need the paint to turn up on Monday or Tuesday!!

Just thought I would give an update on how I am getting on with painting my bumper!! So far it has had 2 coats of paint and is looking great, really pleased with the outcome so far.
