    confused HID Headache....

    Hi All.

I got my vectra last weekend, and it came with aftermarket HID's but im getting the dreaded warning message up on the computer, it was ok for a week but now its really annoying me having to clicking ok twice, every couple of minutes to clear it. So ive searched a few threads on here, and came across HID cancellors.

Ive found these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3DI%26otn%3D2

But im not sure which HID's i have in my car, Any ideas on getting rid of this warning messgae, apart from me removing them.

    Cheers mark

Thats the problem ive got, as looking today there wasnt any clear 'make' markings on them, on the other hand there wasnt any 'oriental' writing either! Maybe removing them is my best bet

    Vehicle : Vectra SRi

All aftermarket hids have the same connecters, so those you listed would be fine.

Although it is strange how the error has come up recently, I assume all the connectors are ok..? For the money I would buy some cancellors as they would sort out the usual bulb out errors.

    Hope this helps.

I assume these hids always threw up the warning messgae, its just that ive only had it a week, and now i cant ignore it! I reckon for £16 ill take a punt.

Yes, on Vec C's HiDs usually ause these errors unless having cancellers fitted, or having special digital ballasts.

I agree, those cancellers are defo the way to go
