I would have taken the bike if i had one, wouldnt mind a nicce Suzuki GSX-R1000 K3 one day or an Aprilia RSV1000, both very nice bikes.

What bike do you have? (i assume you mean motorbikes and not a push bike lol!)

Never been on a bike in my life - know too many people with plates and pins holding their body together after coming off bikes. But always loved the sound of a bike been opened up. Solution - build myself a motorbike that I can't fall off. Result - 448kg of fuel injected R1 powered road rocket.

SVA retest 8am Tuesday to hopefully pass the emissions and then should be registered and on the road in a week or two.

hi mate, ive got a 03 suzuki bandit 600...not quite a pushbike or the the fastest but does just fine for me..at the moment.........Im fancying a gixxer 750 later this year..If Ive got any spare cash...I like the1000 but the insurance is a bit too high as I havent got 5 yrs no claims on bikes yet...had a break of 15 years between them...

By the way, your car is looking excellent.. just checked out your latest pics and now Im jealous......

Can easily solve your insurance problem. Buy the 1000cc superbike, rip the engine out, put it in a kit car and voila £118 fully comprehensive insurance including European cover and 6000 miles per year. Will give you a shout when it's on the road Matt and will have a ride up your way and give you a quick blast.

No brainer - bike wins hands down!!

When it's a glorious day, I do miss not having a bike to jump on and go for a blast! If I'm out driving and a bike screams past me on a country road I let out a sigh and make a kinda whimpering/pining noise!!!

BUT!, that will be rectified in the very near future as I will be definitely be getting a bike again - oh yes!!

Haven't had any pins/plates in my body (yet) but not from want of trying by car drivers on two separate incidents deciding to take me off the bike!! One resulting in 50+ stiches in my leg! Still not put me off. Wife not happy about me talking about getting one again (all that happened before I met her), but I will get one again!

I absolutely love bikes, never owned one though, if I had I would be dead now, bike ppl tend to have a fav type, mine is the superbike type you see on the track, never really got bit by the Harley/Triumph cruiser bug myself.

I saw a mate of a mate get killed one night, one came off the bike the other went straight over him, and these two guys were both best mates and responsible riders, I'd at the time never would have been able to describe myself as responsible, I think I'm right in saying the best part of biking for a speed freak like myself at the time is cornering and getting your knee down for a leather shave.

And I'm also of the opinion that car drivers dont give bikes enough respect either, I treat them like another car, so if I have one in front of me, I dont squeeze him to the curb.

Having said all that, in my maturing yrs maybe now I could be safe on one.
