    Default Dash trim

Is there any reasons why the dash trim (long piece under air vents and small bit under headlight switches) from a facelift would not fit my pre-facelift?

    Cheers

Different shape, the facelift trim is smaller and your left with a gap.

Talking of trim on the facelift, how do you get that long piece off without snapping it?

Got to change my central air vent around the trip computer but am too scared to whip off the trim in case I break it

Open passenger door hold onto the end of the trim then just gentle pull it towards you and it just pops off. I've had mines off loads of times without any issues mate.

I'll give it a whirl - need to get my hands on a chrome vent first (SRI model) before I take it off.

I have visions of me snapping it in half

Just take your time and everytime you pop a clip make sure you hold it near the next one to come and that will prevent it breaking.
