I'll start by saying, Lump you are a star! Got up and the weather wasn't great. After a quick trip to the docs for a no smoking check up, I set off, 50 miles later I arrived in Coventry with hob nobs in hand!
After a quick chat and a cup of tea, Lump showed me the problem with his new rear seats, which I have to say have come up lovely and a complete contrast to the original pictures! The bolts had been removed from the back of the seat rail, oh and the base was stuck and wouldn't move forward when you tried to fold the seat flat. Having never seen one before and with some force, we managed to get it seperated.
Lump set to work on my car and I set to work on the seat! WHAT A ****E JOB! After scraping my knuckles and working out how the seat operated ect the bolts went in but NOT an easy job. Because of the weather and limited time and the fact my car isn't bad the machine polish wasn't needed so the man set to work with his magic. Now I thought (very, very wrongly) I could clean a car. Some very cherry, some snow foam and a wash, some lime pre wax stuff and some wax I THEN REMEBERED THE CAMERA! Too busy working on the seat, did I say that was a ****e job!
Snow foam, all I can say is I LOVE IT and I'm going to be buying! Along with lots of other stuff, I have been sorted with a great little kit to start though! (money sent Marc).
So here are the results, I walked away with some nice detailing bits and bobs and ANOTHER BUCKET! I am converted and now have a new addiction, CLEANING!!!!!
So a lovely day, THANKS Lump it was really great to meet you and I hope to see you soon! Maybe we can get those seats in if I find a day off and she says I can go out to play. Sorry I went on a bit,
Robbie, one very happy man!
